About the role

Spektrum is seeking a Software Developer to join the team supporting the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). The role focuses on the development, update and maintenance of NIRIS software modules that underpin critical NATO communication and information systems.

Key responsibilities

Develop, update and maintain NIRIS software modules in line with agreed requirements and technical direction.
Design and implement Java software components to sustain and evolve the NIRIS software baseline.
Collaborate with project planning teams to ensure timely delivery of software enhancements.
Follow established priorities, coding standards and security guidelines for defence‑related applications.

Required profile

Proven experience in software development, preferably within a defence or secure‑government environment.
Ability to work with detailed technical specifications and adapt to evolving project needs.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

Java programming language.
