Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to lead the content strategy and community growth for four consumer brands across Europe, the USA and Canada. Based in Brussels, you will shape the visual and narrative direction on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms while coordinating a team of coordinators and external creators.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain visual and narrative guidelines for each brand and platform, monitoring performance and adjusting strategy monthly.
• Translate product launch narratives into comprehensive social content plans and ensure timely scheduling and coordination with studios and influencers.
• Lead a team of two Social Media Coordinators, an Influencer Outreach Specialist and 3‑5 freelance creators, managing briefs, reviews and workflows.
• Design and oversee community moderation processes, set tone, escalation paths and response SLAs, and handle social crisis protocols.
• Produce a monthly Social Intelligence Brief for brand managers, highlighting community trends, competitive insights and recommendations for brand messaging.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of social media management experience, including at least one year leading a team or external creators.
• Proven ability to direct content production for consumer brands, preferably DTC, FMCG or sustainability‑focused.
• Experience managing multiple brands or product lines simultaneously.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable using platform analytics to inform decisions.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
