Social Media & Community Specialist

About the role

VECTRA is seeking a Social Media & Community Specialist to own and grow its organic social presence, thought‑leadership distribution, and community engagement. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, aiming to build authority, increase visibility, and generate qualified leads for the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and publishing calendar across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Define content pillars, messaging frameworks, and platform‑specific tactics; set quarterly goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
• Create original posts, captions, threads, reels, and videos; curate industry news and translate complex supply‑chain topics into engaging narratives.
• Collaborate with creative, content, SEO, and marketplace teams to produce visual assets and repurpose long‑form content.
• Monitor comments, mentions, and conversations; nurture a community of supply‑chain and sustainability professionals; engage influencers and manage crisis communication.
• Plan and execute integrated campaigns for product launches, webinars, and events; track performance and optimize in real time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B social media, executive branding, and audience engagement.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to measure and report on social performance.
• Excellent written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics.
