SEO/SEM Specialist (Remote, Belgium)

About the role

This remote position is aimed at an experienced SEO/SEM professional who will drive organic visibility and optimize paid search performance for a partner company based in Belgium. You will own end‑to‑end search activities, from keyword strategy to technical optimization and ROI‑focused PPC management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies including keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, link building, and site architecture improvements.
• Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing to maximize ROI.
• Analyze website analytics, paid‑search performance, and market trends to generate actionable insights.
• Manage campaign budgets, forecast monthly spend, and ensure financial efficiency.
• Conduct competitor research and identify opportunities for both organic and paid channels.
• Implement A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and acquisition outcomes.
• Collaborate with development, editorial, and marketing teams to embed SEO best practices into digital experiences.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in SEO with a strong grasp of ranking factors.
• Demonstrated SEM experience managing PPC campaigns on major search platforms.
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition.
