Senior Visual Designer – Accessibility

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Senior Visual Designer with a focus on accessibility to shape compelling visual experiences for clients worldwide. You will blend user and market insights with IBM’s brand language to create inclusive designs that drive understanding and action.

Key responsibilities

• Design accessible visual experiences, ensuring proper color contrast, typography, layout, motion, and personalization.
• Interpret research insights to inform design decisions that resonate with diverse audiences, including people with disabilities and neurodivergent users.
• Translate complex information into clear, actionable visual forms using color, tone, composition, imagery, and interaction.
• Review and audit designs against IBM Accessibility Requirements, articulating accessibility implications and specifying necessary design features.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience applying accessible visual design principles.
• Strong ability to interpret user research and convert insights into design solutions.
• Familiarity with IBM’s accessibility standards and guidelines.
