Senior UX Designer

About the role

Our client seeks a Senior UX Designer to shape intuitive digital solutions within a multidisciplinary product environment. You will work closely with product owners, developers and other specialists to translate user needs into effective interfaces and scalable design patterns delivered in agile sprints.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and interpret user needs, turning them into interaction models and functional concepts.
• Design user‑friendly web and mobile interfaces, applying common interface patterns where appropriate.
• Plan, conduct and analyse user testing to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to deliver long‑term concepts in an agile workflow.
• Contribute to design standards and evolve design systems in a structured way.
• Support stakeholder management in large, complex organisational settings.
• Lead or contribute to workshops and user interviews as needed.
• Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles to digital experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a UX Designer.
• Proven experience designing digital products for complex environments.
• Solid experience with design systems, adapting and extending them.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills in large organisations.
• Experience conducting user interviews and usability testing.
• Must be Dutch‑speaking at CEFR level C2; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Figma (hands‑on experience).
• Claude or similar AI design tools.
• Atlassian suite – Jira and Confluence.
• Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision or comparable design tools.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript implementation ability.
• Responsive screen design and content‑driven page design.
• Agile and Scrum practices understanding.
