Senior Software Engineer .NET C#

About the role

Rydoo is building an AI‑powered platform that simplifies expense and accounts‑payable management for millions of users worldwide. As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a cross‑functional squad to design, develop, and scale core backend services that make expense processing faster and smarter.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain REST APIs that power the expense management product.
• Extend and optimise micro‑services architecture, including service‑bus communication.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Set up infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor performance and scalability of services and drive continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Several years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong passion for clean, testable code and collaborative agile teams.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• .NET framework and C# programming.
• Entity Framework or similar ORM (e.g., NHibernate).
• SQL Server or comparable relational database.
• Experience with micro‑services and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud (or AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Service Bus messaging.
• Understanding of REST API design.
• Basic exposure to Angular or willingness to learn front‑end technologies.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Interest in Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
