Senior Project Management Officer (PMO)

About the role

AETHER is seeking a Senior Project Management Officer to support large‑scale transformation programmes in the energy utilities sector. You will work closely with Stream Leads to ensure governance, risk awareness, and cross‑stream alignment across a multi‑country, multi‑layered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Stream Leads in daily steering, aligning activities with transversal PMO methods and governance.
• Organise and facilitate Stream meetings, ceremonies, and workshops as defined by the PMO.
• Drive intra‑Stream plan coordination and ensure end‑to‑end delivery coherence across streams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, developing remediation paths.
• Conduct deep‑dives on stream‑specific topics, consolidate information, and surface key dependencies.
• Produce executive‑level documentation, slide decks, and reporting material for steering committees.
• Maintain and update JIRA tooling to reflect programme status.
• Navigate a complex, multi‑layered environment with cross‑country collaboration.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of proven experience in a PMO role.
• Experience in large projects involving IT replatforming.
• Understanding of business processes in operational transformation, preferably within energy utilities.
• Exceptional progress reporting and communication skills.
• Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize complex information into executive messages.
• Entrepreneurial mindset or experience is a plus.
• Fast availability preferred.
