Senior Manager – Maintenance Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead large‑scale maintenance operations in a complex industrial environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and timely execution of contractual maintenance tasks on high‑speed trains while driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for more than 300 personnel, including direct supervision of 11 reports.
• Coach, motivate and develop the team to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Ensure contractual maintenance tasks on high‑speed trains are completed profitably and on schedule.
• Monitor progress through dashboards and KPIs, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in negotiating new maintenance contracts with external partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational excellence.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing maintenance operations in a complex industrial setting.
• Proven leadership of large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on KPI‑driven performance.
• Experience with high‑speed train maintenance contracts is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
