Senior IT Helpdesk Officer

About the role

Nexeo Belgium is seeking a Senior IT Helpdesk Officer to join its consultancy team supporting leading multinational clients in the banking, finance and insurance sectors. You will provide first‑ and second‑line technical support and contribute to workplace improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support via phone, email and on‑site.
• Filter, handle, coordinate and follow up IT service requests.
• Assist users with tablets, smartphones and other devices.
• Identify, track and resolve hardware and software incidents.
• Manage workstation assets, set up and configure workstations.
• Document support actions accurately and timely.
• Participate in workplace‑related projects and innovation initiatives.
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure service delivery meets agreed standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT helpdesk role.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
