Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Orange Cyberdefense is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join its Belgian team. You will work with Europe’s leading IT security experts to detect, investigate and defend against cyber‑attacks using the latest technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Triage and investigate alarms from SIEM, endpoint protection, and network anomaly detection tools.
• Conduct threat‑hunting investigations and campaigns.
• Escalate relevant threats to customers and provide advice.
• Detect anomalies and attack patterns across the cyber‑kill chain (MITRE ATT&CK).
• Support customers during security incidents and ensure effective defense.
• Identify improvements to detection methods and manage onboarding projects for new clients.
• Report monthly on the status of customer environments.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in English; conversational Dutch and French.
• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Engineering or equivalent certification/experience.
• Hands‑on experience in Cyber Security Operations, preferably in a Blue Team environment.
• Understanding of penetration testing, threat hunting, incident detection, response and malware analysis.
• Team‑player with a customer‑oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
