Senior Gender & Human Rights Expert

About the role

NTU International is building a pool of senior experts to support the EU‑funded Cooperation Facility in Lesotho. The Senior Gender & Human Rights Expert will provide strategic guidance and ensure that gender equality, human rights and social inclusion are embedded across all project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality, human rights and social inclusion into the design, implementation and monitoring of project interventions.
• Conduct gender and human rights analyses to inform policy dialogue and stakeholder consultations.
• Advise project teams on mainstreaming cross‑cutting priorities within EU programmes.
• Support the preparation of reports, briefs and recommendations for the EU Delegation.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building for local partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion and human rights.
• Proven experience in development cooperation, preferably with EU‑funded projects.
• Strong understanding of EU policy frameworks and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
