Legal Associate

About the role

We are looking for a curious, humble and business‑minded legal entrepreneur who wants to help shape how itsme® grows. You will work closely with the business to understand its ambitions, spot opportunities early and make risks visible, manageable and proportionate.

Key responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of itsme®’s products, customers and strategic ambitions, translating legal complexity into clear options for the business.
• Identify opportunities and manage risk by assessing upside and downside, defining proportionate safeguards and proposing workable paths.
• Draft, review and negotiate client, supplier, partnership and technology agreements, ensuring balanced and scalable solutions.
• Advise on GDPR, privacy and product‑related legal questions, embedding legal thinking early in product development.
• Improve templates, guidance, processes and ways of working to raise the legal maturity of the organisation.
• Coordinate disputes, external counsel, intellectual‑property strategy, corporate governance and insurance matters.

Required profile

• Opportunity‑oriented mindset, able to propose practical, proportionate solutions.
• Clear and concise communication of legal advice to support decision‑making.
