Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading financial organisation in Brussels to strengthen its engineering team. As a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer you will shape the technical vision of a large‑scale, business‑critical platform used across the company, balancing hands‑on development with architectural leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex backend services using Java.
• Build and maintain responsive front‑end components with React and TypeScript.
• Provide technical leadership, defining architecture and coding standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a supportive engineering culture.
• Ensure performance, scalability and reliability across the full stack.

Required profile

• Deep experience with Java in production environments.
• Strong front‑end expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex systems.
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions and guiding others.
• Effective communicator who values teamwork.
• Knowledge of financial systems or regulated environments is a plus.
