Senior Consultant, AI & Strategy

About the role

Agilytic, a boutique data and AI consultancy founded in 2015, is looking for a Senior Consultant for its AI & Strategy practice in Brussels. The role sits between business and technology: you help clients frame the right problems, scope initiatives and turn ambitions into usable AI and data workflows. Regular presence at client offices is required, with flexible and hybrid working, and the team meets every Friday in the city centre.

Key responsibilities

• Work with client stakeholders to identify where AI and data create the most value and to scope initiatives
• Turn business questions into clear AI and analytics opportunities, and run discovery and needs-scoping sessions
• Translate between business language and technical reality, and identify the right KPIs and solution type (analysis, model, dashboard, automation, agent, AI workflow)
• Coach business teams on responsible use of AI tools and products, and build prototypes, dashboards, models or automations
• Structure roadmaps and priorities, from quick wins to longer-term plays, and communicate findings to technical and executive audiences
• Support implementation and adoption, and supervise and coach junior team members

Required profile

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business or a related quantitative discipline
• 2 to 3 years of experience in consulting, analytics or AI delivery, ideally client-facing
• English fluency, plus French or Dutch; strong Dutch is particularly valued
• Valid type B driving licence (Belgian car licence) or equivalent
• Eligible to work in Belgium and the EU; no relocation support offered

Required skills

• Solid foundation in analytics, statistics and structured problem solving
• Hands-on Python and SQL for data preparation, analysis and modelling
• Nice to have: AI use-case design, ETL/ELT, cloud data, APIs, BI/reporting tools, machine learning, version control and AI-assisted coding tools
