Technical Microsoft 365 Consultant

About the role

AmeXio is looking for a Technical Microsoft 365 Consultant in Leuven. You will act as the link between customer needs and technological solutions, designing, implementing and optimising applications in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, etc.) and helping customers make the most of their digital workplace. You should also have experience or a strong interest in change management and user adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer needs and turn them into practical Microsoft 365 solutions
• Plan and execute migrations to SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 solutions
• Work with the project manager to plan activities, monitor progress and keep scope, time and budget under control
• Configure and document content types, metadata, permissions and other information structures
• Coordinate with team members on dependencies such as security and compliance requirements and user adoption
• Identify and escalate risks such as scope creep and technical challenges
• Contribute to technical aspects of customer proposals during presales
• Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 innovations and share knowledge with the team

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent Dutch and English; lives in Belgium
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, customer focus and analytical mindset
• Able to lead workshops and document outcomes clearly
• Team player who enjoys sharing knowledge

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products such as SharePoint, Power Platform and Azure
• PowerShell and SPFx development
• Intranet solutions such as Powell and/or Purview (a plus)
• .NET or FME development (an advantage)
