Security Specialist

About the role

The Security Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical security controls across our infrastructure and cloud environments. You will work closely with IT and business teams to analyse incidents, perform audits, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast‑paced, highly regulated setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate‑wide information security projects and controls.
• Perform advanced analysis of escalated security events, forensics and alerts.
• Implement and maintain security technologies and solutions.
• Develop and automate incident‑response playbooks and workflows.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to resolve security incidents and service requests.
• Provide on‑call support for critical security incidents outside standard hours.
• Advise on secure architecture design and conduct technical audits, vulnerability assessments, and configuration reviews.
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives related to information security.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in information security.
• Strong technical understanding of IT environments and security controls.
• Proven ability to manage security tasks or projects with limited supervision.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑motivated learner who can work both independently and as part of a team.
