Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager supports the Internal Audit function by providing high‑quality IT and information security expertise across audit and advisory assignments. This role focuses on evaluating and improving cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance practices within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver IT audit and advisory missions covering cybersecurity, information security, data privacy, cloud security, IT infrastructure, and governance.
• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems, risk management, and IT processes, providing independent recommendations for improvement.
• Define audit scope, methodology, and execution plans aligned with internal audit standards (IIA) and organizational frameworks.
• Manage the end‑to‑end audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, stakeholder interviews, reporting, and follow‑up actions.
• Produce clear audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with internal methodologies, documentation standards, and traceability of audit activities.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders while maintaining independence and objectivity.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in IT security domains such as cybersecurity, data protection, cloud security, and IT governance.
• Proven senior‑level experience in IT audit, risk management, or security advisory.
• Ability to lead engagements, define methodologies, and manage delivery within strict timelines.
• Familiarity with internal audit standards (IIA) and best practices.
• Excellent reporting and stakeholder communication skills, with NL/FR language preference.
