SAP Domain Architect – Supply Chain Management (SCM)

About the role

We are looking for a senior SAP Domain Architect specialized in Supply Chain Management to design and lead the target architecture for NMBS’s end‑to‑end supply chain on SAP S/4HANA. The role covers demand and supply planning, inventory and warehouse management, procure‑to‑pay, logistics execution and maintenance supply chain within a safety‑critical rail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the S/4HANA SCM target architecture tailored to depot operations, rolling stock maintenance flows and critical spare‑parts logistics.
• Lead full‑lifecycle S/4HANA SCM implementations, overseeing design for Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management and SAP Business Network.
• Conduct workshops with senior stakeholders from supply chain, rolling stock, infrastructure, finance and engineering.
• Validate delivery team outputs, ensure compliance with safety‑critical stocking policies and material traceability.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of SAP SCM experience, including SAP MM, IM, WM/EWM, TM and integration with SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Proven track record as a Domain Architect on at least one full‑lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience in an asset‑intensive, regulated industry such as rail, utilities or MRO.
• Fluency in Dutch or French (C1/C2) and at least B1 English.
• Availability to work onsite in Brussels at least two days per week.
