IT Manager

About the role

Our partner, a national firm operating in a highly regulated environment, is looking for an IT Manager who will own both people and technology. The role blends hands‑on technical work, project delivery, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the internal Support team, providing guidance while staying involved in day‑to‑day IT operations.
• Take a hands‑on role in IT projects, contributing to technical implementation rather than only coordinating them.
• Manage the relationship with an external infrastructure partner, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear ownership.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into realistic IT solutions.
• Take ownership of DORA‑related documentation, processes and requirements to keep the IT environment aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with other technology teams to deliver projects and continuously improve the IT environment.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, support or IT management with a strong technical foundation.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Previous experience leading or coordinating an IT/support team.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to understand technical topics in depth.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with external IT providers and managing technology partnerships.
