About the role
The Sales Key Account Manager will drive commercial negotiations and strategic initiatives for key automotive customers. You will act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring alignment, satisfaction and profitable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, lead and close negotiations, including RFI/RFQ responses, design or process changes, capacity and shortage discussions, and part discontinuation management.
- Report negotiation progress and outcomes promptly and in a structured format.
- Clarify customer requirements, coordinate internal reviews and monitor customer KPIs.
- Develop short‑ and long‑term sales budgets with accurate volume and turnover forecasts.
- Lead overall account management, coordinate cross‑functional action plans and ensure documentation of all activities.
- Supervise the Key Account Coordinator and collaborate on all customer account activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Key Account Management or commercial negotiation role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- University degree in sales, business or a related field.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Competent use of Microsoft Word.
- Effective use of Microsoft Outlook.
