Sales Executive (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

As a Sales Executive you will be based in Brussels and focus on developing the Japanese market for a leading taste evaluation and certification organisation. You will build relationships with food and beverage producers, explain the value of the Institute’s certification, and help clients grow their brands.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with international food & drink producers, presenting the evaluation and certification process.
• Generate new business opportunities through creative outreach and social selling.
• Advise award‑winning clients on how to promote their achievements for maximum impact.
• Represent the Institute at national and international trade shows and industry events.
• Support blind‑tasting events coordinated by a jury of world‑class chefs and sommeliers.
• Provide customer insights and testimonials to strengthen the value proposition.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the food & beverage sector.
• Native‑level Japanese proficiency and fluent English.
• Hunter mindset with strong business‑development drive.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving international environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive.
• Proficiency in social‑selling tools, especially LinkedIn.
