Sales Director – Adhesives

About the role

The Sales Director – Adhesives leads the commercial activities of the Adhesives Division, owning full P&L responsibility and driving revenue, margin and profitable growth across all product lines and market segments. You will set the commercial direction, build strategic customer partnerships and inspire a high‑performing sales team to achieve market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own and execute the division’s commercial strategy, including pricing, market prioritisation and growth initiatives.
• Set annual budgets, manage costs and deliver on revenue and profitability targets.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans with measurable KPIs for the sales organisation.
• Provide transparent reporting and forecasting to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Build and nurture deep, trust‑based relationships with key customers and act as escalation point for strategic accounts.
• Lead, coach and develop regional sales managers, key account managers and technical sales professionals.
• Foster a culture of customer‑centricity, responsiveness and proactive problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading commercial functions with full P&L accountability.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue and margin growth in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and develop high‑performing sales teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
