Risk Consultant – Regulatory Compliance & Resilience

About the role

We are seeking a Risk Consultant to help our clients navigate increasing regulatory demands and strengthen their governance, compliance and resilience. The consultant will lead projects that embed regulatory requirements, improve risk frameworks and support business continuity initiatives across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance projects, coordinating workstreams, monitoring milestones and delivering gap analyses with action plans.
• Design and formalise governance, incident‑management and reporting processes, mapping regulatory obligations to existing compliance frameworks.
• Conduct critical reviews of resilience and risk‑management frameworks and develop business‑continuity, crisis‑management and policy documentation.
• Define and standardise risk‑management methodologies, support deployment of common tools and challenge project teams on risk identification and mitigation.
• Draft and update policies, methodologies and framework documentation, contributing to initiatives on emerging risks such as cybersecurity, AI and organisational resilience.
• Prepare and facilitate steering committees, workshops and presentations for senior management and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk management, compliance, resilience, internal control or governance.
• Background in a highly regulated environment or transformation projects.
• Familiarity with frameworks or regulations such as CER, NIS2, DORA, ISO 31000, ISO 22301 or equivalent standards.

• Risk governance and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Regulatory analysis and preparation of strategic deliverables.
• Facilitation of workshops and steering committees.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to engage with executive‑level stakeholders.
• Native‑level French; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
