About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director EMEA, the Retail & Client Director Europe will define and execute Delvaux’s commercial strategy across a network of 11 boutiques in Belgium, France, the United Kingdom and Italy. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, focusing on sustainable growth, operational excellence and strict alignment with the Maison’s image and positioning.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional commercial plan, identify growth opportunities and drive revenue while ensuring profitability.
- Lead boutique performance, set targets, monitor KPIs and optimise stock management, product presentation and commercial activations.
- Develop a culture of client excellence, recruit and retain high‑value clients (VICs) and ensure personalised experiences across the network.
- Coach, mentor and develop boutique directors and managers, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative environment.
- Design and deploy training programmes, incentive schemes and continuous improvement initiatives for retail standards.
- Establish dashboards, analyse sales and client data, and provide regular insights to senior management.
- Oversee commercial agreements, ensure compliance with brand standards and supervise talent recruitment and development.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in luxury or high‑end retail environments.
- Strong track record in commercial strategy, business development and profit‑driven growth.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑country boutique networks and optimise retail performance.
- Excellent coaching and talent development skills with a hands‑on leadership style.
- Experience in client relationship management, particularly with high‑value clientele.
- Ability to analyse data, build performance dashboards and translate insights into actionable plans.
