Research and Development Engineer

About the role

H&O Equipments is seeking a full‑time Research and Development Engineer to join its Ath location. You will work on cutting‑edge cryosurgical medical devices, driving projects from concept through to market‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects, managing all phases from idea generation to execution.
• Develop and improve existing cryosurgical products such as CryoPen, CryoProbe, and Accurett.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including design, quality, and regulatory to meet project goals.
• Conduct research to identify emerging technologies and innovation opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• Strong experience in research and product development.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for decision‑making.
• Proven background in medical device design using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
