Quality Assurance and Technical Coordination Expert

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Quality Assurance and Technical Coordination Expert to join the core team of the EU‑funded Uzbekistan AgriFood Development Strategy (2020‑2030). The expert will support the implementation of a sustainable, market‑oriented agri‑food system that improves farm income, creates livelihood opportunities and enhances food security for smallholder farmers, women and vulnerable groups.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the quality and consistency of all technical outputs, including policy studies, sector assessments and regulatory analyses.
• Coordinate technical activities across project partners, monitoring timelines and deliverables.
• Critically assess analytical products and provide feedback to improve methodological rigour.
• Support the development of training curricula and capacity‑building materials for local stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between the project team and public administration bodies in Uzbekistan.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in agriculture, agri‑economics, rural development, natural resource management, public policy or a closely related field (or a Bachelor’s degree plus four years relevant experience).
• Minimum C1 proficiency in English (written and oral); Russian knowledge is an asset.
• At least five years of professional experience in agricultural policy, rural development or agri‑food sector governance.
• Proven ability to produce or critically assess high‑quality analytical outputs.
• Experience in policy research, academia or senior advisory roles; experience within a public administration agricultural policy function is a plus.
