Project Coordinator – Automotive Homologation

About the role

As a Project Coordinator you will act as the liaison between Manpower TBO and an international automotive client, ensuring that vehicles and mobility solutions comply with all required regulations before market launch. You will be part of the homologation team, the hub of engineering, compliance and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and manage technical documentation for regulatory approval.
• Follow up on homologation planning and testing activities with internal stakeholders.
• Support vehicle testing with official authorities and ensure correct execution.
• Manage certification processes, including Certificates of Conformity (CoC).
• Monitor and interpret EU and international regulations (UNECE, emissions, safety).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and European stakeholders.
• Handle administrative follow‑up such as documentation, SharePoint updates, reporting and guideline maintenance.
• Improve processes around compliance tracking and data management.

Required profile

• Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to create clarity in a fast‑moving environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Automotive, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar).
• Experience in homologation, automotive compliance, testing, vehicle development or technical documentation.
• Strong ownership, autonomy and attention to detail under pressure.
• Excellent English communication; good Dutch or French is a plus.
• Resilience and perseverance in an international context.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
• Knowledge of EU and international automotive regulations (UNECE, emissions, safety).
• Technical documentation handling and certification processes.
