Procurement Officer – Central Procurement Team

About the role

Join Deloitte's Central Procurement Team as a Procurement Officer, supporting internal stakeholders across Facility, Mobility, ITS, HR and Travel. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping the organization achieve cost‑effective, high‑quality sourcing while aligning with sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with designated business units to understand operational needs and align procurement activities.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor supplier and contract compliance, ensuring adherence to terms.
• Support RFx projects, focusing on timelines, budgets and process efficiency.
• Conduct market research and use data analytics to inform sourcing decisions.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with potential suppliers, coordinating with Legal on terms.
• Guide category managers in supplier relationship building and spend optimization.
• Ensure sustainability and ethical standards are embedded in supplier selection.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of experience as a Procurement Expert or in a similar role.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Affinity for sustainable sourcing and knowledge of purchasing strategies.
