Financial Analyst – AWS Division

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the Amazon Web Services (AWS) division by providing rigorous financial analysis and acting as a central business partner for profitability initiatives. The role builds strong relationships with senior management to align financial insight with business strategy across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and publish timely financial results, including Quarterly Business Review decks for internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the AWS business division.
• Partner with business leaders to develop action plans that continuously improve margins.
• Assist HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with headcount and payroll guidelines, including vendor‑funded resources.
• Support vendor teams in obtaining senior leadership approval for new initiatives by creating financial models and executive presentations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in finance or controlling within an international company.
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Experience in FP&A or a business‑partner finance role.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex numbers into clear insights while handling confidential information.
• Deadline‑oriented with a high sense of urgency and the confidence to communicate with senior management.
