Procurement Officer – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

Sabca is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage and optimise supply flows for its aerospace manufacturing operations in Brussels. You will work closely with production teams, suppliers and logistics partners to ensure the continuous availability of materials required for aircraft and space launcher programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse demand forecasts and stock levels to create accurate supply plans.
• Place orders with suppliers, balancing delivery times, quantities and budget constraints.
• Track shipments and verify that deliveries meet specifications and timelines.
• Monitor inventory, identify optimisation opportunities and reduce costs while maintaining availability.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and evaluate performance.
• Resolve procurement issues such as delays, stockouts or non‑conformities.
• Prepare regular procurement performance reports, analyse trends and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with EN9100 quality and ISO 14001 environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in management engineering, industrial engineering, economics or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong planning, organisational and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and maintain analytical focus.
