Presales Specialist - Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions

About the role

Ingram Micro is expanding its Advanced Solutions business in Belgium and is looking for a Presales Specialist for Lenovo. You will support the sales teams and partners in designing and positioning Lenovo infrastructure solutions (servers, storage and datacentre technologies) and act as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders. The role is not purely desk-based: you will regularly meet partners and customers, take part in presentations and demonstrate solutions in real business settings.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical specialist for Lenovo server and storage solutions
• Support sales teams and channel partners with solution design and technical recommendations
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, workshops and technical consultations
• Accompany sales colleagues to customer and partner meetings when technical expertise is needed
• Help partners identify the best infrastructure solutions for their customers
• Support proof-of-concepts, product positioning and technical validation
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitive solutions and emerging technologies

Required profile

• Relevant experience in presales, systems engineering, solution architecture or technical consulting
• Strong knowledge of datacentre technologies such as servers, storage, virtualisation or infrastructure solutions
• Experience with vendors such as Lenovo, HPE, Dell, IBM, NetApp or Cisco is a strong advantage
• Fluent English and good command of either Dutch or French, able to work in Belgium's multilingual environment
• Interest in achieving and maintaining vendor certifications
