Presales Consultant - Dell Infrastructure Solutions

About the role

Ingram Micro in Diegem is hiring a Presales Consultant for Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions. The role supports sales teams, partners and customers in designing, positioning and validating server, storage and networking solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor from initial discovery through to solution validation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements on performance, availability, scalability, security and budget, and turn them into technically sound designs
• Design end-to-end architectures using Dell PowerEdge servers, storage platforms (PowerStore, PowerFlex, PowerScale, PowerVault) and Dell Networking solutions
• Produce technical designs, sizing, configurations and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Take part in customer meetings, workshops and technical presentations, and explain complex architectures clearly
• Support RFPs, RFIs and tenders, and assist with PoCs, demonstrations and technical validations
• Work with account managers and channel partners to strengthen proposals and support competitive positioning
• Keep up to date with the Dell portfolio and roadmap, and provide technical enablement to sales and partner teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure pre-sales, technical sales or systems engineering
• Dutch and English
• Customer-focused, able to handle several opportunities at once
• Dell certifications are a strong advantage

Required skills

• Enterprise infrastructure: servers, storage and networking
• Virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• SAN, DAS, SDS and Ethernet networking concepts
• Infrastructure sizing and capacity planning
