Policy Intern

About the role

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) EMEA office in Brussels is offering a full‑time, six‑month paid internship in its Policy Department. You will support the team on a range of European policy topics, including copyright, artificial intelligence, audiovisual regulation and digital issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor EU developments on copyright, audiovisual policies, AI, platform regulation, sustainability and related areas.
• Attend external events and produce concise reports.
• Provide organisational assistance for engagements with EU institutions.

Required profile

• Degree in policy, law or a related field with a strong interest in European affairs.
• Understanding of the EU decision‑making process; prior experience in an EU institution is a plus.
• Professional fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team‑player attitude with initiative‑taking mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SharePoint (optional).
