PHP Developer – Symfony, API Platform, React (Brussels)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join a long‑term, full‑time project near‑site in Brussels. The position requires three days a week on‑site and offers the chance to work with modern technologies such as Symfony, API Platform and React while contributing to a high‑performing DevSecOps environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust PHP applications using Symfony.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs with API Platform.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to integrate React components.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters.
• Apply OOP principles, SOLID design patterns and best coding practices.
• Participate in security reviews and ensure compliance with DevSecOps standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 11 years of professional experience (including university studies).
• EU citizenship; non‑EU candidates will not be considered.
• Ability to obtain a Personal Security Clearance before the start date.
• At least one relevant technical certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java EE 8, SE 17+, PM² Agile, BPMN 2.0).
