Philosophy QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position focuses on leading quality assurance for philosophy‑focused AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated philosophical content and trainer outputs meet rigorous conceptual, logical, and stylistic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated philosophy content and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on argument structure, logical validity, contextual accuracy, clarity, nuance, and formatting.
• Identify recurring quality issues such as straw‑man arguments, invalid inference, conceptual confusion, or misrepresentation of philosophers’ views.
• Communicate updates and guidelines to trainers and QA team members.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Monitor contributor activity and help reactivate inconsistent participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Logic, Political Theory, Humanities, Religious Studies, Classics, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for clear written communication.
• 3+ years of experience in philosophy research, teaching, writing, editing, academic or ethics review, or related humanities workflows.
• Deep understanding of philosophical methods, logic, argument analysis, and major sub‑fields (e.g., epistemology, metaphysics, political philosophy).
