People Relations Specialist – Belgium & Luxembourg

About the role

As a People Relations Specialist you will ensure that Belgian and Luxembourg labour laws are applied consistently, fostering a positive work environment and a fair employee experience. You will act as the main liaison with employee representatives and support the Benelux People Team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Belgian and Luxembourg labour legislation, collective agreements and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Lead the Belgian Works Council, Health & Safety Committee, Trade Union Delegation and the Luxembourg Union Delegation.
• Provide expert advice on labour law, well‑being and employee case management.
• Support managers in handling individual cases, investigations, grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging workplace.
• Drive local People Relations initiatives and organisational change projects.
• Deliver training and communication for managers, area teams and store management on labour relations, health & safety and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Social Law or equivalent experience in Labour Relations.
• Proven experience in People/Labour Relations, preferably within a sales environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian labour law and collective bargaining; knowledge of Luxembourg law is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
• Excellent advisory, stakeholder‑management and analytical skills.
• Collaborative, inclusive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
