Paralegal – Legal Support for Offshore Wind Projects

About the role

Join the Legal Function of JERA Nex bp, a joint venture focused on offshore wind development worldwide. As a Paralegal you will support corporate governance, contract administration, and legal operations across multiple jurisdictions, reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage company secretarial and corporate housekeeping matters for group entities, including board and shareholder documentation.
• Support corporate transactions such as entity incorporations, restructurings, and governance implementation.
• Maintain statutory registers, organisational charts, director mandates, and KYC/UBO obligations.
• Draft, review and administer NDAs, general terms, and other contracts; keep contract databases up‑to‑date.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research, obtain corporate information, and support compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate legal formalities with notaries and external advisors, and provide proactive support on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Professional bachelor's degree in Legal Practice or a law degree (bachelor’s or master’s) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a law firm, notary office, or in‑house legal department.
• Strong business judgement, solution‑oriented mindset, and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast‑moving project and transaction environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team.
