Online Writer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an Online Writer to create clear, engaging website copy that translates complex technical and policy information into user‑friendly content. The role is fully remote and part of Netcompany Belgium’s digital communication team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit and adapt technical or policy‑driven material into concise web copy.
• Structure, publish and maintain content across multiple sites using CMS tools.
• Manage text, images and multimedia elements to ensure consistency and usability.
• Verify that all content meets editorial standards, accessibility guidelines and data‑protection requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align content with organisational priorities.
• Support fast‑paced content projects, contributing to planning and delivery.
• Explore emerging AI‑based solutions to improve content workflows where appropriate.

Required profile

• Degree in communication, journalism, digital media, political science, public policy or a related field.
• Proven editorial experience converting technical or policy material into web‑ready content.
• Experience working in international, multicultural environments.
• Strong command of English (C1/C2) and good working knowledge of French (B1/B2).
• Excellent collaboration, project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with website CMS platforms and digital publishing workflows.
• Knowledge of multimedia publishing and basic UX principles.
• Awareness of data‑protection requirements in digital communication.
