Medior Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

Wisure is seeking a Medior Cyber Security Consultant to help clients strengthen their detection, monitoring and overall cyber defence capabilities. You will work on both operational and advisory assignments, supporting SOC operations, threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and investigate security alerts from SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR and cloud security tools.
• Support SOC operations, including alert triage, incident analysis and escalation.
• Improve detection rules, use cases and monitoring capabilities.
• Perform vulnerability management activities, including prioritisation, reporting and follow‑up.
• Assist with incident response and security investigations.
• Document findings and communicate recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Help clients enhance cybersecurity processes, controls and maturity.
• Contribute to Wisure’s internal knowledge base and service development.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, vulnerability management, incident response, detection engineering or security consulting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Professional attitude with clients and a proactive learning mindset.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
