Software Engineer – Backend Analytics

About the role

In this role you’ll contribute directly to Axon™, our Digital Twin SaaS platform. We’re looking for software engineers who are curious, analytically strong, and excited to grow in an intellectually challenging product environment.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate customer data into scalable data models, building complex graph structures, analytical logic, and advanced capabilities for calculations, simulations, and querying.
• Build and extend a sophisticated backend using .NET, ensuring clean, production‑ready code with a strong focus on quality and maintainability.
• Leverage AI tools to explore design options, write and improve code, validate tests, and accelerate repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with a close‑knit team of data scientists and engineers to deliver end‑to‑end platform features.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and abstract reasoning mindset; enjoys mathematics, complex systems, and intellectual challenges.
• Master’s degree in (Civil) Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software development; prior development experience is a plus but not required.
• Fluent in Dutch and English and ready to embody company values: dig deep, own it, come together, move fast, be kind.
