Medicine Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This hourly, remote contractor position is for a Medicine Quality Assurance Lead who will oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across medical AI training projects. You will review AI‑generated medical content, evaluate it against detailed project rubrics, and provide precise written feedback to ensure clinical accuracy, patient‑safety awareness, and adherence to guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated medical content and trainer/QA work for accuracy, clinical reasoning, terminology, and safety.
• Evaluate output against project‑specific rubrics and identify issues such as unsafe recommendations, hallucinated facts, or missing caveats.
• Provide clear, written feedback to contributors and ensure they follow quality standards.
• Spot recurring quality problems, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and support onboarding of new contributors.
• Maintain documentation of quality processes and help reactivate contributors who are not consistently active.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, MBChB) or equivalent advanced clinical/healthcare qualification.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines, communicating with teams, and writing feedback.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in clinical practice, medical research, medical education, healthcare QA, medical writing, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of core medical topics such as clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, diagnostics, treatment principles, and evidence‑based medicine.
• Ability to assess medical content against detailed rubrics and flag unsafe or inaccurate information.
