Medical Manager Cardio‑Renal‑Metabolism

About the role

Join a highly professional and energetic Medical team as the Medical Manager for the Cardio‑Renal‑Metabolism (CRM) therapeutic area in Belgium. You will shape the local medical strategy, build strategic networks, and position the organization as a trusted partner in a rapidly evolving market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals, authorities and patient organisations.
• Provide scientific and therapeutic area expertise to the brand team and co‑create strategic plans.
• Lead medical projects across the CRM therapeutic area, from pre‑launch through lifecycle management.
• Initiate and manage clinical and scientific activities, including investigator‑initiated studies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management.
• Develop training plans and deliver in‑field training for sales representatives.
• Gather insights from expert interactions and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Navigate reimbursement processes, medicine councils and regulatory authorities in Belgium.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.
• Significant experience in medical affairs within the cardio‑renal‑metabolic therapeutic area.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for scientific exchange with external experts and internal teams.
