Medical Information & Pharmacovigilance Officer

About the role

Chiesi is looking for a motivated graduate to join its Pharmaceutical Affairs team as a Medical Information & Pharmacovigilance Officer. You will support patient safety and provide high‑quality medical information on Chiesi products to healthcare professionals and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Register, document, report and follow up on incoming safety reports within established timelines.
• Maintain internal databases, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide timely, professional responses to medical and safety inquiries from pharmacists, patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Act as first‑line contact for product‑related questions, including device usage such as inhalation technique.
• Escalate medical questions, quality complaints or safety information to the appropriate internal departments.
• Organise team meetings and internal/external events.
• Manage financial‑administrative tasks for the team, including purchase order and purchase request processes.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a healthcare or life‑science background.
• Strong interest in pharmacovigilance and medical information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to work under tight timelines.
