Mechanical Design Engineer – Complex Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading international engineering company’s machine development team. You will design and develop sophisticated industrial equipment, contributing from concept through detailed design to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mechanical systems and automated machinery.
• Create, modify, and optimise 3D machine models using SolidWorks.
• Manage engineering data, drawings and revisions within Teamcenter or a comparable PLM system.
• Review and validate 2D manufacturing drawings and technical documentation, applying GD&T principles.
• Support machine development from concept to detailed design and implementation.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering change management processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, reliable machine solutions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in machine building and industrial equipment design.
• Extensive experience in 3D mechanical design and product development.
• Proven ability to work independently and integrate quickly into existing projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
