Material Planner – Ensure Optimal Raw Material Availability

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Material Planner to guarantee the continuous availability of raw materials and packaging for our lasagne production at sites in Marche or Wanze. You will work closely with purchasing, logistics and production to keep the supply chain flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, interpret and execute supply plans using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to sustain production.
• Manage supplier orders, monitor deliveries and coordinate with an external warehouse when on‑site capacity is limited.
• Provide quarterly and annual forecasts to support contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Place orders according to agreed lead times, minimum quantities and allocation rules.
• Track supplier performance (lead time, cost, quality) and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain stock levels while respecting storage constraints, expiry dates and delivery costs.
• Focus on just‑in‑time supply of minced meat and organise inter‑company transfers when needed.
• Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving sessions with R&D, Quality, Purchasing and Production to resolve quality or delivery issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Initial experience in a similar supply‑chain or material‑planning role.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
