Management Consulting Internship – Insurance

About the role

Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting – Insurance team in Belgium is seeking a Management Consulting Intern to support insurance clients through strategy, operations and digital transformation projects. The internship provides hands‑on experience in consulting engagements, allowing you to develop analytical, communication and collaboration skills while working alongside experienced consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Support consulting projects for insurance clients across strategy, operations and digital transformation.
• Assist in transformation initiatives through analysis, documentation and implementation support.
• Conduct market research, data analysis and benchmarking to generate insights and recommendations.
• Prepare client‑ready deliverables such as presentations, analyses and workshop materials.
• Help facilitate client workshops, working sessions and follow‑up activities.
• Support implementation tasks including testing, change documentation and basic functional configuration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Accenture teams, including technology and delivery specialists.
• Stay informed on insurance industry trends, regulatory developments and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem‑solving and structuring abilities.
• Interest in management consulting, insurance and digital or IT‑enabled transformations.
• Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
