Maintenance Technician – Warehouse Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art distribution facility in Beringen, Belgium. You will be part of a six‑person technical team responsible for keeping automated warehouse systems running smoothly from commissioning through go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and automation‑related faults.
• Carry out electrical testing, component swap‑outs and safe isolation procedures.
• Maintain accurate intervention reports and technical documentation.
• Support continuous‑improvement and reliability projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Prior experience in industrial maintenance or automation.
• Strong technical background in warehouse automation systems.
• Qualification equivalent to TSO/MBO/EQF Level 4 in mechatronics or electrical engineering.
• Fluent English; conversational Dutch is a plus.
• EU citizenship or the right to work in Belgium without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00).
