Maintenance Engineering Specialist – Refinery Experience (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Aramco is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Specialist with proven refinery experience to join the Maintenance Solution Department (MSD) under Global Manufacturing Excellence. The position is based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent, residential basis and focuses on developing and optimizing maintenance programs for global manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance processes, management strategies, and performance assessment frameworks aligned with GME and corporate standards.
• Design and execute preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance strategies, including organization structures, manpower and cost analyses.
• Conduct data‑driven benchmarking of maintenance performance, covering spending analysis, wrench time, SAP taxonomy, planning & scheduling, and personnel competency.
• Prepare regular maintenance performance reports, KPI reviews, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Analyze maintenance spending across manpower, equipment, materials procurement, and outsourcing.
• Support line maintenance organizations in implementing best practices and process improvements.

Required profile

• Refinery maintenance engineering experience (mandatory).
• Strong analytical ability to assess maintenance data and generate actionable insights.
• Experience with global manufacturing environments and cross‑functional collaboration.
