Local SEO Account Manager for Client Success & Growth

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Local SEO Account Manager to drive client success and growth for a portfolio of small‑business customers in Belgium. You will be the primary point of contact, guiding clients through onboarding, strategy, and performance reporting while ensuring they achieve higher local visibility and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding of new clients, setting clear expectations and establishing service processes.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, handling communications, strategy discussions, and ongoing relationship management.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports covering rankings, traffic, leads and campaign outcomes.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to expand client value through additional SEO, advertising or content services.
• Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns proactively and work to maintain high retention rates.
• Coordinate with internal SEO, project management and delivery teams to ensure timely execution of client strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a customer‑first mindset.
• Experience in account management, customer success, business development or agency‑side client services.
• Sales‑oriented attitude with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Local SEO fundamentals, including Google Business Profile, citations and local rankings.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
